Fantasy Dolls

Assassin's Creed is top of my Christmas list this year, it looks amazing! This doll happens to be a little bit inspired by it. She's meant to look all Third Crusade Assassin, she doesn't really catch that and the shadow under the hood is a bit too in your face, but ah well. Anyways.. she has a sword.. just like my past 5 trillion dolls.

Well she started off as a knight-ish person.. but well.. she didn't turn out quite what I had in mind. First off I made her evil, then some sort of noble.. but now she looks like she belongs in King Arthur (Clive Owen version lol). Well she's not bad, she's just a bit hodge-podge. I need to stop using swords all the time. :S

Captain Grey, she's a character I created as an entry for the competition for a new mascot at a new forum being created. She's OK.. I tried putting lots of thought behind her and how she would relate to a forum, but we'll see how it goes.

The best captain you will ever sail under; she's a courageous leader, a keen navigator, and an enthusiastic explorer. Captain Gray takes care of her ship mates and is fair to all. On her latest voyage aboard the Hawkins her crew sailed to the Lost Lagoon, a place treasured by all who set foot on its land and who fall under its enchanting spell. Captain Gray regularly journeys to this mysterious place to search for its many hidden treasures to trade back in the dealing world; however she often encounters the scourge of the sea during these fantastic expeditions, but she fly’s her colours proudly and does what it takes to ensure the safety of her crew. As a result of her daring risk, she’s left with many battle scars, but none of which diminish her classic beauty and piercing blue eyes, all enhanced by the sea lightened wisp of hair she frames her face with.

You’re truly lucky if you sail under the extraordinary Captain Gray.

I love "warrior" dolls. So here's another one lol. Slightly inspired after watching Van Helsing, and I love Ana's outfit, so if there was another gypsy princess or vampire hunter, she'd dress like this lol. The trousers are really bugging me. As are the boots. But I'm quite happy with how the rest turned out.

I've never remade a doll before, but I had the idea to do it after e-mailing Allie. The original is on the right. This is one of my favourite dolls, it's got attitude, even though it was so badly drawn! So here's the remade version, with blood and all!
